Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of TrueSouth, operated by Neostrat (Pty) Ltd (“TrueSouth”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

TrueSouth’s v1 service is available only to residents of South Africa and the United Arab Emirates. By using the service you confirm that you are a resident of one of those countries. The service is not offered to, directed at, or intended for residents of the European Union or the wider European Economic Area (EEA). Residents of the EU/EEA are not permitted to use TrueSouth at this time. If we determine that an account is held by an EU/EEA resident, we may suspend or close it and delete the associated data.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to use TrueSouth.

TrueSouth is a career-coaching tool. It helps you build, refine, and present your career story, and provides AI-assisted suggestions you review and approve. We do not guarantee any job, interview, offer, or outcome, and we are not your employer, recruiter, or agent. Coaching content is for your guidance, not professional legal, financial, tax, or immigration advice.

Some features generate suggestions using AI. You remain in control: you review and approve (or reject) every suggested change before it is applied. You are responsible for the final content you choose to use in your CV, profile, or applications.

You keep ownership of the information and content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you submit.

TrueSouth is currently in a limited beta. A Free tier is available. Paid plans (Pro and Premier), any discounts, and any gain-share arrangements are described at the point of sign-up and only take effect once you expressly opt in. During beta, features may change, break, or be withdrawn, and pricing is not final.

Don’t misuse the service: no unlawful activity, no attempts to break security or access other users’ data, no scraping, and no submitting content that infringes others’ rights. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueSouth is provided “as is” during beta, and Neostrat (Pty) Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these Terms as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected in the date above. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or fall outside the territorial scope in clause 2.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
